The Roaring Flames

The spark is the beginning,
It starts the fire.
The fire is the beginning,
It breeds the roaring flame.

A roaring flame as a fire
Spreads and consumes;
Thus is its life purpose.

As the flame spreads,
In its wake all is purified.
As the flame spreads,
In its wake all is new.

We take the spark
And start the flame.
The flame spreads,
Consumes,
Purifies,
And makes all new
And pure;
In the light of the Lord.
